The biblical admonishments “Resist not evil” and “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”[1] must be balanced in the light of the teachings of the ascended masters. Evil, the veil of imperfection that shrouds the immortal Light of the soul, must be effectively dealt with by every student if he would ensure his freedom to progress spiritually in the Light.
