^h English (en)	The apostle [[John the Beloved\|John]] wrote in Revelation 20:12, “The dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” The reference to ''books'' here is to each man’s individual book of life in which is inscribed the recordings of his works—his positive and negative karma.
