Le Livre de la vie peut désigner :

1. (avec une majuscule) « Le récit de ceux qui sont les fils de Dieu et qui sont descendus du ciel sur la terre. »

À l'heure où les fils de Dieu descendirent pour diverses raisons — la plupart d'entre eux pour poursuivre les anges déchus et pour protéger les nouvelles races racines et les enfants de la lumière dans la Matière —, il y eut un livre puissant qui fut pris en main par Alpha et Oméga. On y inscrivait leurs noms et on y consignait leurs allées et venues à partir du moment où ils quittèrent l’autel du Dieu Très-Haut.

Ce livre est mentionné dans le livre de Daniel, chapitre 12 :

Et en ce temps-là se lèvera Michel, le grand prince qui veille sur les enfants de ton peuple ; et il y aura une période de détresse telle qu'il n'y en a jamais eu depuis qu'il existe des nations jusqu'à ce moment-là ; mais en ce temps-là, ton peuple sera sauvé, tous ceux qui seront trouvés inscrits dans le livre.

C'est là la semence de Sanat Kumara, les descendants de la semence du Christ. Ceux dont les noms sont inscrits dans le Livre de Vie sont ceux qui sont descendus du Grand Soleil Central en traînant des nuages de gloire, qui connaissent la Présence JE SUIS et leur Dieu avec eux, qui s'agenouillent volontiers devant la Lumière Universelle et reconnaissent le Christ — non seulement en Jésus, mais en eux-mêmes et les uns chez les autres.

Le vrai nom de chacun est également inscrit dans le Livre de la Vie. Notre bien-aimé Jésus a dit :

J’ai prononcé le nouveau nom que nul ne connaît, sauf le Père. Car le vrai nom de chaque homme, de chaque femme et de chaque enfant est écrit dans le Livre de Vie et gravé au cœur ardent de l’Être. C’est pourquoi je vous baptise tous, sans exception, au nom du Père, du Fils et du Saint-Esprit ; et je vous baptise selon le nom inscrit dans le Livre de Vie. Et vous recevrez ce nom à l’heure de votre propre résurrection.

How much proof the Law does require of you ere the I AM THAT I AM shall descend into your temple bodily is according to your record found in the Book of Life. Be grateful that your name is written therein. Be grateful that one angel of Light may come to tell you what is written there, what is required of thee, deed upon deed upon deed, to cancel out the force of the anti-deed of Antichrist performed in your unenlightened state of the ignoring of the Law.

2. The individual book of life.

The apostle John wrote in Revelation 20:12, “The dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” The reference to books here is to each man’s individual book of life in which is inscribed the recordings of his works—his positive and negative karma.

The Keeper of the Scrolls is the custodian of the archives containing each man’s book of life. He is the head of the band of angels known as the angels of record, or recording angels. Each soul evolving in time and space is assigned a recording angel, who records every action, word, deed, thought and feeling. At the end of each day, the recording angel submits the record of that day to the Keeper of the Scrolls.

It is the responsibility of the Keeper of the Scrolls to provide the ascended masters and the Lords of Karma with the life record of any or all incarnations of any individual about whom they may inquire. This information is used not only in the soul’s final judgment, but also for the purposes of counseling and assigning the soul her duties and mission from lifetime to lifetime. This life record is also used in granting dispensations (of mercy or talents), initiations, or appointment to an office in the ascended or unascended hierarchy of the Great White Brotherhood.

On October 13, 1972, Mother Mary told us that we could apply to the Keeper of the Scrolls to see the records that would assist us in overcoming the human consciousness and attaining our victory. Mother Mary said:

The Keeper of the Scrolls ... will draw forth from the Book of Life in your behalf, if you will call to him and to the Lords of Karma, those pages that require seeing and examination if you are to make the proper calls.

The book of life is a record of the soul’s history and a ledger of her karmic accounts. We are accountable for our thoughts and feelings, our motives and our acts in every lifetime we have spent on earth since we left the ancient Mystery School called Eden. Either we meet and overtake that karma with the all-consuming sacred fire of God or it will overtake us as calamity and cataclysm, as economic collapse and nuclear war, as disease and death.

Saint Germain has said that we can change history. We do not have to leave the record of history as it is, either in our personal lives or on a planetary scale. We can use the violet flame to go back and transmute what has transpired that is not of the light. And when it’s transmuted and we invoke the divine pattern, we have actually changed our history. We have transmuted it. As far as God is concerned, if we do not do that mistake again, it is permanently erased. It is erased from the book of life, and the true divine plan is written in its place.

Sanat Kumara also speaks of this individual book of life:

When all initiations of the Ruby Ray have been fulfilled, it becomes the signal for the opening of the seven-sealed Book of Life—your own life and life record. For in the final analysis, only you can open that seven-sealed book. It is the book which contains the law of your innermost being—you in the Son and in the Father and in the Holy Ghost—you fulfilling the gospel of all three and then tracing, by your soul’s comings and goings here and there and everywhere on earth, the gospel foursquare.

3. The individual causal body.

Thus, as the causal body is each man’s book of life, revealing unmistakably the use he has made of his sovereign free will in qualifying the energies of God with positive Good, so the electronic belt is the tome that reveals his misuse of free will in qualifying God’s light with an energy veil.

5. The “little book” spoken of in Revelation.

Saint Germain says:

The real meaning of the passage of scripture in which John the Revelator referred to the little book which would be sweet in the mouth and bitter in the belly relates to his digestion of the idea of himself as containing the universe and the universe containing him. The Book of Life spoken of in Revelation is the lexicon of God, and the lexicon of God embraces the entire cosmos.

Inasmuch as it spans all of the creation, let none take away another’s portion or privilege to enjoy all of its cosmic truth; nor let anyone deprive himself of this, life’s greatest privilege. To do so is to take away either one’s own or another’s portion, and surely then God, as Law, shall confine the one so doing to the same sphere of limitation to which he has confined another.
