Soul Retrieval

The messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet conducted guided Soul Retrieval meditations at quarterly conferences between the years 1995 and 1998. Currently, the ritual of soul retrieval is conducted at each quarterly conference using the messenger’s videotaped meditations.

The need for Soul Retrieval

We are all interested in Soul Retrieval because we understand that we need to bring the components of the soul back to a whole, sealed in the seat-of-the-soul chakra. And when that wholeness takes place by retrieving the elements of self that we have left here and there and across the universe, then we have the components of the soul. And now with the components of the soul reassembled we can work on wholeness and work on our bonding to the Lord Jesus Christ through the Holy Christ Self.

The Goddess of Wisdom has spoken of the need to reassemble the components of the soul:

I have come with the teaching of wisdom. I have come with the teaching of wisdom because there are some among you who have reached that point when, with the touch of the fire of the Holy Spirit, you could experience a new wholeness. You have met certain requirements of the law. You have balanced certain portions of karma which are the cause behind the effect of limitations in body and mind. And yet for want of will and of determination and of the leaping into the joy of the Spirit and the understanding that God’s promises are kept—for want of this, it is as though the parts of the puzzle have not been put in place. They are there ready to be assembled to make the perfect cube. It requires the alchemy of the key, the turning of the key, and the taking of the hand, and the performing of the sacred work of the assembling of the soul components.

Think of this: to assemble soul components! Have you ever thought that perhaps the components of your soul were not in alignment with the cube of the heart? Have you perhaps left a portion of your soul in the past or with another part of life? Have you given your soul and placed it somewhere where you ought not to have placed it, in loyalties to the human consciousness and to the flesh that ought to be replaced immediately by loyalty to God and to the Spirit? Think, then, of drawing together your solar awareness and your soul consciousness. Think, then, of commanding the atoms and cells and electrons of the soul to return to the soul chakra. Think, then, of drawing this solar fire and solar evolution and solar consciousness as a magnet in Mater whereby you, in the temple of the living God, might experience the wholeness of the Temple Beautiful.

See, then, how to command Life—how to command Life—how to understand that, with all the law that is taught, there is a call for ingenuity, creativity, even genius in knowing how to call and what to call. It is like knowing the next step in a very complex problem of mathematics—how to arrive at the desired solution, what equation shall be used, what method. It is like the physician picking from the shelf the necessary application, the necessary formula to the problem.

Well, some of you have not even diagnosed the problem in order to now be concerned with that which must be applied as solution. And therefore, I bring to you a possibility and a probability that the problem is the need to assemble the components of the soul. In some cases, the soul, its forcefield, has been split by very intense fears of the past—traumatic experiences wherein you might say the soul has been driven underground, far into the depths of the subconscious like a frightened child. The soul must be called back, back to the throne room, back to the three-in-one, back to the place where the trinity of the threefold flame is enshrined in the temple of the heart.

The “Call to the Sacred Fire Breath” is an invaluable call. It connects you to the heart of Alpha and Omega. And there is the magnetizing of the elements of the soul that have been scattered or dissipated back to the heart center by the building of the heart center through Saint Germain's Heart Meditations. Our heart center is our sun center. It is the sun of our being. As we increase and magnify God in our heart with tremendous love, tremendous loyalty, tremendous bonding, that sun becomes powerful.

Helios and Vesta in the center of our solar system have the love/wisdom to magnetize and hold in orbit the planets of this system. So you have one particular planet, which is your soul, that you want to draw back. It is the focus of the fire of the heart that enables you to do that. If you had no threefold flame, if you had no center, living way out here on the surface, way out on Pluto somewhere, you are not going to magnetize the components of your soul because you have nothing with which to magnetize it. The only thing that can magnetize your soul is your solar center, your sun center.

The real difference between using a psychologist and the ascended masters and their path and the decrees is that there is no transmutation through simple psychotherapy. You may feel better and feel you have achieved results but you may not have balanced the karma of the situation. You have only come to an understanding and a resolution at the human level. Now you have to use the fire to consume the record. You may not have actually achieved something that is permanent because the only permanent way to retrieve the soul is through the bonding of the soul to your Holy Christ Self.

Soul retrieval is the work of a lifetime. Depending where you are on your spiritual path at any particular time, certain elements of your soul can be retrieved and brought back to you, and they can become a permanent part of your soul. But this requires a substance whereby that which is retrieved becomes a part now of the soul that is with you and remains.

There are centrifugal and centripetal forces in the universe. One flings us outward and one flings us inward. And so the forces that are going inward to hold that soul must be more powerful than the pull on the soul to be scattered. And as long as we walk the earth in mortal bodies, we have to be vigilant in guarding the soul.

Why the soul has become fragmented

El Morya has told us:

On this first day of the year I ask you first and foremost to make your peace with yourself. For if you are not at peace with yourself, you will not be at peace with me and surely I will not be at peace with you. I shall come where your members are divided within and without, and I shall help you fuse the fragmented parts of the soul into one whole.

I will come, beloved. But I say, whether you have a difficult psychology or health problems or a challenging astrology, let it be understood that the members of your being must be in harmony with one another so that there is not a warring [between these members] whereby one organ does not work with another organ [et cetera]....

Protect your inner child. Call upon us as the Three Wise Men to tend and nurture and protect your inner child; for, as you know, your inner child is your soul, who needs your loving attention. And if you hear many children speaking to you from within, know that these are fragments of your soul. And the fragments must become one voice—one voice, one soul immaculate. Only then shall that soul rise in wholeness as a totality of being.

The soul becomes fragmented when people do not maintain peace, the sixth ray quality of Jesus Christ. If we don’t have absolute peace in our being, then we cannot hold onto or magnetize these fragments. This is why years ago the masters have recommended that we are in therapy, that we read certain books, that we understand and bring to resolution and closure all kinds of things we have experienced in our lives.

We can imagine fragments of the soul as pieces of torn garments. They look somewhat black against the universe. They are here and there, millions and billions of miles away or very close, as close as your lap. They get scattered because this core of the fire infolding itself, which pulls the entire universe to yourself, was not there. The power was not there, the concentration, the devotion, the love, the communion with God all building this fiery sun. And so there was not sufficient gravity or attraction or whatever you want to call it to pull them back.

Furthermore, the spaces between the fragments of the soul that El Morya showed me are not empty spaces but they are solid and filled with the Martian energies, with the substances in our electronic belt, with the records. And so the fragments can’t come near because we haven’t come to resolution and we haven’t entered into transmutation.

So any soul retrieval that we are going to do must be done through the ascended masters, because transmutation is involved. The only place that the returning of the fragments of the soul should take place is in the forcefield of the ascended masters, the forcefield of absolute protection.

Further teachings on Soul Retrieval

Archangel Michael has explained the need for the ritual of Soul Retrieval:

Inevitably, during the centuries of human history, you have engaged in many wars and battles. In the course of these confrontations, you have literally lost fragments of your soul, the result being that today your soul is not whole, and therefore she must be restored to wholeness through the exercise of the spoken Word.

By invoking the Great Central Sun Magnet, the Messenger magnetizes back to the lawful owner soul particles that have been lost or stolen. However, it then becomes the soul’s responsibility to hold onto the retrieved particles. But if for want of sufficient momentum of the sacred fire, the soul does not have the necessary magnetism to hold the particles in her orbit, she may lose the very particles she was able to salvage through the Messenger’s invoking the Great Central Sun Magnet.

By giving dynamic violet-flame decrees to Saint Germain and protection decrees to me and my hosts, you as an earnest devotee of the Holy Spirit can in time build a sufficient momentum of the Great Central Sun Magnet within your heart chakra to overcome your present lack.

In order to accomplish this, you would do well to religiously attend soul-retrieval sessions conducted by the Messenger at quarterly conferences and on special occasions. You can attend these sessions either in person at King Arthur’s Court or by phone patch from anywhere in the world. By so doing, you would benefit greatly.

In the interim between soul-retrieval sessions, you can work on gathering back to the fold the sheep (i.e., the soul fragments of your being) that have strayed or been stolen from your pasture by wolves in sheep’s clothing. By this means, the soul may ultimately be strengthened so that she may be restored to wholeness in preparation for her reunion with her Bridegroom.

Saint Germain explains the need to guard the elements of the soul:

The piracy of genes and soul fragments is a reality when you are engaged in the warfare of the Spirit. For this reason, the Messenger regularly conducts rituals of soul retrieval.

Her assignment from the Brotherhood is to demagnetize negative elements that have attached themselves to soul fragments and genetic components of the human spirit and to give them a positive spin so that their lawful owners may once again claim them. By giving calls to Alpha and Omega in the Great Central Sun Magnet, every chela can magnetize his soul fragments and genetic components back to the seat-of-the-soul chakra, the heart chakra and the secret chamber of the heart.>

But as an unascended chela, you are always in danger of losing these elements of your being through anger, argumentation or arrogance. You must therefore be the watchman on the wall of your own soul consciousness. Unless you do this assiduously, fallen angels and demons will have entrée into the sanctuary of your heart and your seat-of-the-soul chakra and they will be able to steal the crumbs of light from the Master’s table.

Purity and Astrea speak of the importance of this ritual:

Your hearts in the beginning, when you were created out of the white fire ovoid of God, had the charge of the Great Central Sun Magnet. Yet in tumbling down the octaves and landing where you have landed in this band of the physical octave, it has come to pass, because of your descent and because of having spent that light, that you no longer have conjoined to your heart chakra or threefold flame the elements of the Great Central Sun Magnet. This is why we have spoken and said we call our messenger to perform for you the ritual of soul retrieval. And we shall call her again and again.

As you prepare for the next ritual of soul retrieval, so take note, beloved, that it is the strengthening of your heart that must be our assignment to you. To strengthen the heart, one must first balance the threefold flame of the heart, for the heart flame cannot increase if it is out of balance....

Soul retrieval also involves the retrieving of the misqualified energies of the three plumes of the threefold flame and the white sphere of the Mother. Where you have misqualified, you have been the losers. Where you have correctly qualified, you have had gain. But in the aggregate today the percentages are high that most individuals, even those on the Path, have not developed the heart sufficiently to be able to call it a magnet heart (for want of another term). Thus it takes the Great Central Sun Magnet to magnetize back to you the fragments of the soul. And many of you have seen how those fragments have come home in the last twenty-four hours....

This soul-retrieval ritual will be performed again and again for you by the messenger. The reason we cannot give to you this ritual without the messenger is because we must have one—and it is the messenger whom we have raised up who is that one—who holds in her heart and has in her heart a sufficiency of elements of the Great Central Sun Magnet, as well as our overshadowing of her with that Magnet, in order that she might give the invocations for the elements of the soul to return. Once they have returned, beloved, then you must work daily with the exercises of the threefold flame. For by that flame and only that flame will you retain that which you have lost.

Thus, we have spoken and stated that the messenger will perform this ritual again and again, certainly at every quarterly conference from now on. In the interim you have approximately the twelve-week periods to work on yourself, to prepare yourself for the next ritual. I counsel you to make this a priority, for it is the priority of your very life. It is the priority of yourself and your twin flame. It is the priority that is given to you and spoken through us today from the heart of Alpha and Omega.
